Radio designs. Concept taken from moth motif on New Zealand dollar note. Linear qualities are derived from a nz road map, the speaker pattern is a maori flax weaving. Based on the idea that the moth can shut in half down the middle to turn off and open out to turn on. The antennae are levers for the volume and the top piece of the body acts as a dial to move the tuner along AM/FM.
I really like the way you have gone for more subtle links to NZ such as the flax weaving, the opening and closing mechanism is also very well thought out.
